For Fall/Winter 2010 Lizzie Fortunato Jewels tells the narrative of the seemingly flawless 1950s housewife eager to escape her domestic prson. Vintage peach glass stones and fabric reproductions of mid-century wallpapers pepper the “Fly Me to the Moon” collection, which ranges from the “pretty” (collars of pastel-hued vintage ribbon bows) to the “glamoroush-gone-awry” as we follow the story of the impeccable-turned- wayward lady.
